The Gordon Wisconsin area has always been big woods country. Lots of outdoor adventure like hunting, fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking, scouting out next fall’s hunting haunts and as of the last several years ... Golf! That’s right Golf! We’re talking about Gordon Pines Golf Club, a golfing oasis in the middle of the big woods make the area a true sportsman’s paradise.

You just have to come check out the championship layout of this 9 hole jewel in the forest. Bring your friends and family and come play a round or two, or even join a league.

There is a league for everyone. Tuesday night is mixed league. Thursday morning is a ladies league. Monday and Wednesday evening is a pick up league where you draw for partners. Golf carts are available.

The clubhouse and bar have been completely remodeled and expanded. Gordon Pines has a small pro-shop and snack bar. Stop out for happy hour. The banquet facilities for weddings, anniversaries, company parties or any event of up to 200 guests, is the perfect place for your gathering.

Club manager Christy Flamang showed me through the place including the new banquet facilities of this 12 year old golf course. It really is a beautiful place and when you consider the great northwoods is all around while you play, you’re likely to see deer, bear, geese, birds and wildlife of all kinds, you just can’t top it for for fun and adventure.  You have to agree, for an outdoors person it really doesn’t get any better.
